Green Tea Metabolism Booster

This all-natural green tea metabolism booster recipe helped kick-start my metabolism and curbed my cravings, helping me lose seventeen pounds!

Ingredients

  • 1 green cardamom crushed
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon powder
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 tea bag green tea
  • 1/2 tsp honey
  • 1 lemon

Instructions

  1. Add crushed green cardamom and cinnamon powder to a cup of water in a small saucepan.  Bring to a boil.

  2. Put a tea bag of green tea in a mug.  Strain the hot water mixture into your cup.

  3. Stir 1/2 tsp of honey into the tea.

  4. Add fresh lemon juice, as much as desired.

  5. Cover cup and allow to steep for a minute or so before drinking.

Recipe Notes

Use as much lemon as you like, for me, half a lemon (the small, Pakistani kind, not the huge American kind) is enough.

Please use common sense, do not drink a million cups of this in one day in the hopes of faster results.  Weight loss is a marathon, not a sprint.
